We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve. **Job Description:** Imaging Insurance Coordinators are responsible for verifying insurance and maintaining updated insurance coverage in all patient accounts. Communicates with other departments regarding patient coverage and eligibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Verifies all demographic, insurance, HIPAA, and copays through Practice Management System (PMS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Makes any necessary changes and/or add tasks in Radiology Information System (RIS) for imaging patient services to confirm with patient at check in. * Chart checks each patient by adding all information and all relevant tasks into RIS for new patients to our imaging centers. * Verifies and loads existing patient insurance changes and communicates changes to all necessary departments. * Check Non TO and TO Rad Onc appointment template information with PMS. Notifies IAC if insurance needs verified or if demographic information needs to be updated.
