support the development of factory-station methods and software tools for quad-camera overlap sharpness evaluation
study and implement objective and traceable methods to evaluate sharpness continuity during digital zoom camera transition
work on image quality analysis
overlap-region definition
target-based sharpness measurement
and production-station software flow
Study the overlap region between camera pairs and help define pair-specific ROI recipes for different test scenarios
Support ROI validation using full-FOV overlay references and debug visualizations
Develop and improve analysis tools for Siemens Star based sharpness evaluation in overlap regions
Support score calculation
and annotated result generation for factory use
Assist in evaluating the relationship between objective sharpness metrics and subjective face sharpness continuity using mannequin-head targets
Help collect and analyze data for threshold tuning before production release
Support the station workflow for scenario-based capture
and pass/fail automation
Help implement logging
CSV summary generation
and result traceability functions
Assist in testing invalid cases
and engineering debug activities to improve the robustness of the production station solution

In this role, you will support the development of factory-station methods and software tools for quad-camera overlap sharpness evaluation. The focus of this internship is to study and implement objective and traceable methods to evaluate sharpness continuity during digital zoom camera transition, especially for Wide-to-Tele and Tele-to-Tele handoff scenarios. You will have the opportunity to work on image quality analysis, overlap-region definition, target-based sharpness measurement, and production-station software flow. This role is well suited for candidates who are interested in computer vision, imaging quality evaluation, and practical engineering deployment. ****Responsibilities and Requirements:**** * ****Overlap ROI Study and Validation**** Study the overlap region between camera pairs and help define pair-specific ROI recipes for different test scenarios. Support ROI validation using full-FOV overlay references and debug visualizations. * ****Sharpness Analysis Tool Development**** Develop and improve analysis tools for Siemens Star based sharpness evaluation in overlap regions.
