What You'll Do.
Supervise daily operations of IHC Department
Ensure adherence to quality standards
Ensure adherence to deadlines
Ensure adherence to procedures
Assist Manager in developing SOPs
Assist Manager in implementing SOPs
Assist Manager in revising SOPs
Assist Manager in interpreting SOPs
Assist Manager in enforcing SOPs
Advise Manager of department problems
Advise Manager of laboratory concerns
Compile data for reports
Work on special assigned projects
Perform Immunohistochemistry Technician functions
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
Coordinate storage of hazardous materials
Coordinate laboratory safety program
Examine slides for tissue preparation
Examine blocks for tissue preparation
Perform daily quality control
Perform daily quality assurance
Prepare tissue sections for testing
Perform manual testing for IHC
Perform manual testing for ISH
Perform manual testing for DIF
Perform automated testing for IHC
Perform automated testing for ISH
Perform automated testing for DIF
Maintain strict confidentiality
Comply with State regulations
Comply with Federal regulations
