Must Have
Diploma/Graduation in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, 1-2 years of project management experience or operations planning experience, 1-2 years’ experience with physical network infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting, 1-2 years’ experience with network cabling (fiber optic & copper), English language communication ability, Basic knowledge of computer hardware and network cabling, Ability to work well with others in a team environment, Excellent time management skills, Ability to follow direction, Able to work at heights or use ladders for continued periods, Attention to detail, Maintain high quality standards, Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, Knowledge of testing equipment, Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies, 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience, Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds, High school or equivalent diploma
Nice to Have
Substantial background in large scale datacentre network implementations and support, Knowledge of Copper and Fiber Optic testing methodologies, Ability to read basic layout drawings and floorplans, Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CITY & GUILDS Cabling cert or equivalent), Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management), Knowledge of server hardware and components

Key job responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities ID-LB Cabling Infrastructure Tech at ADSIPL, expectation from role are: · Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center. · Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling. · Creating/attaching labels and barcodes . Understanding of test equipment (power meter / light source, OTDR, VFL, Fluke, network analyser, copper / fiber cabling test equipment) . Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices. · Managing inventory of related materials by checking and coordinating all materials to be delivered to site daily · Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures. · Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. . Regularly work at heights and from ladders. . Experience with a ticketing system · Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
