What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 years structured cabling experience, 3 years data center experience, 3-5 years leading technicians, Read and understand CAD drawings, Basic networking knowledge, Project coordination experience, 2+ years computer networking experience, Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, Lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
Nice to Have
5+ years structured cabling experience, Deep hands-on knowledge of Cat 6/6A copper, Deep hands-on knowledge of OM3/OS2 fiber optic systems, BICSI Installer 2 certification, BICSI Technician certification, RCDD designation a plus, 3-5+ years leading cabling technician teams, Proven record of delivering large-scale cable installation, Proven record of delivering large-scale cable relocation projects, Experience maintaining accurate cabling infrastructure databases, Experience reading and interpreting CAD drawings, Experience reading and interpreting as-built documentation, Project coordination skills, Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, Diploma or degree in Electronics, Diploma or degree in Telecommunications, Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Work in cramped spaces, Work in elevated locations, Experience dealing effectively with customers, Operating efficiently under pressure, Experience managing work through a ticketing system, Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices, Experience with cabling infrastructure methodologies, Experience working in a data center environment, Racking and stacking gear, Cable management, Hot/cold aisle containment

Key job responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities ID-LB Cabling Infrastructure Tech at ADSIPL, expectation from role are: · Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center. o Extensive knowledge of cable infrastructure installation and testing o Ability to direct team members in installation and relocation of network equipment and cabling on a large-scale basis o Experience managing cable test management software, such as Fluke linkware, to maintain an accurate Cabling infrastructure database o Experience with fault isolating and troubleshooting cabling within live networks including LAN and WAN o Excellent written, spoken interpersonal communication and reporting skills o Understanding of test equipment (power meter / light source, OTDR, VFL, network analyzer, copper / fiber cabling test equipment) o Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment o Supervise technicians and provide on-the-job training when required o Provide regular feedback on the per
