We are looking to hire an ICQA Operations Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment centers Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team. Our fulfillment centers (FC) sit at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing operations network: they are where we manage our fast-moving inventory. In each fulfillment center, our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out; each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today. These fulfillment centers are fast-paced and high reward environments, where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need a leader that ensures we deliver as reliably as ever to our customers, while making sure our teams deliver on customer obsession. Key job responsibilities - Lead and supervise a team of ICQA Area Managers and of hourly Associates (including Team Leads and - Data Analyst) assigned to inventory control, quality assurance and problem solve operations within the fulfillment center - Partner with Operations and other Support teams to establish, influence and adhere to policies and procedures - Ensure compliance with safety programs and SOX regulations - Analyze inventory defects, problem solve issues or customer defects data to identify corresponding actions plan that improve quality - Conduct short-term (weekly) and mid-term (month/quarter) labor plans, forecasting capacity needs, staffing plans and schedules - Support in interviewing and training fulfillment center Area Managers A day in the life You will lead a department responsible for inventory control, quality assurance and problem solve operations.
