**Ready to join the future of innovation?** NXP’s Smart Front end & Interfaces product line is developing some millimeter wave technologies so to provide ground-breaking and innovative solutions to the consumer, computing, and industrial markets. Significant technical challenges must be overcome to make these products a reality and this journey will provide a truly rewarding experience. At our site in Caen, France, and as a IC &system validation engineer, you will be part of an inspiring team of 30people including RF IC architects, RF Design Engineers, Verification/modeling Engineers, Test & Product engineers & Quality engineers. **Your Responsibilities:** As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for: * Define the Validation strategy of new mmW and High-speed digital circuits. * Develop the hardware tools for Silicon validation, manual and automated: from definition to debug. * Program optimized software for manual and automated testing (Python...). * Build a characterization plan in coordination with Design, Test engineering & Applications. * Conduct the project validation per the plan with the other Lab team members. * Perform IC parametric and functional bench-level measurements. * Support Design debug investigations. * Analyze results, report the test cases, and follow-up on issues. * Coordinate with a cross-functional team: Design/ Test / Product / Program management/ Application / FA / etc... **Your Profile:** * Master degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or comparable * Knowledge in MMW/RF and/or high-speed digital test methods and measurement techniques. * Practical experience in Software (python) and Hardware debugging and troubleshooting * Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools * Knowledge of signal processing and IA is a plus * Good problem-solving skills to resolve silicon and system application issues. * Structured and analytical way of working. * High degree of autonomy, self-motivation, and delivering results * Excel
