Problems you'll solve

Resolve issues related to aircraft hydro-mechanical systems; Troubleshoots hydraulic system problems; Investigates problems to provide engineering disposition of discrepancies; Creates and provides solutions for technical, operational, and quality issues; Assists in design and/or analysis of interim and final engineering solutions; Works with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-compliances

Eligibility Requirements

Willing to work outside of standard 1st shift to support 24/7/365 operation, May need to work non-standard shifts, Travel domestically or internationally around 10% of the time, Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically (and/or internationally), 100% onsite, Work onsite at the Seal Beach, California location, Must meet U. S. export control compliance requirements, Requires a “U. S. Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. §120. 62

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), Able and willing to work outside of standard 1st shift to support 24/7/365-day operation - Saturday and Sunday work will occasionally be required., Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time.

Nice to Have

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience., Experience with Hydraulic Systems, Hydro-Mechanical components, or related fields., Aptitude to present to senior leadership., Ability to collaborate with multiple team functions.

Troubleshoot hydraulic system problems

Support analysis and definition

Create technical documentation

Assist with technology development study

Review design and production documentation

Observe tests and audits

Create solutions for issues

Assist in design of engineering solutions

Conduct root cause analysis

Develop dispositions for non-compliances

Assist in development of customer correspondence
