With studios in Austin, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle, Blink brings two decades of experience to research, design, and strategy for clients such as Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, NASA, Starbucks, and USAA. This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice, which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners. Location: Onsite - 5 days/week, Manhattan Duration: 1-year contract ## What you'll be doing Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking Build and refine complex UI components with a strong understanding of component references; define and document component props, states, variants, and technical constraints to support scalable implementation. Define component and interface behavior beyond visual design, including responses to data changes, error states, edge cases, and user interactions; partner with engineering to ensure interaction logic is implementable and consistent.
