Setting department standards for customer service

Determining department goals with store director
Determining weekly work schedule and establishing a daily work plan
Inspecting signage and displays for quality and quantity of merchandise and ordering product for replenishment
Communicating with employees regarding sales and ideas
Handling and satisfying customer issues
Figuring retail pricing and ensuring correct pricing
Overseeing department bookkeeping procedures
Analyzing weekly and monthly sales and trends
Preparing ad projections and writing ads
Conducting inventory of the department
and determining pre-orders
Ensuring proper temperatures and storage procedures are maintained
Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring maintenance is performed
Maintaining strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reporting to work when scheduled and working expected number of hours
