Must Have
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations, or related discipline and one year of experience in the job offered, or Engineering, Infrastructure/Production Operations, Process Improvement, or in a related occupation, Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations, or related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or Engineering, Infrastructure/Production Operations, Process Improvement, or in a related occupation, One year of experience using Voice of the Customer analysis to drive improvements through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools, Performing project/program, Conducting statistical analysis and performing data mining utilizing tools such as, Excel, SQL, Tableau and/or related business intelligence, Developing and driving strategic Initiatives within a cross-functional, Leading people/teams without formal responsibility and interacting and building rapport with teams of all levels

Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc. Position: HW Commodity Specialist III (multiple positions available) Location: Austin, TX Multiple Positions Available: (1) Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable supply chains. (2) Using data and key metrics, drive and measure improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness. (3) Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals. (4) Continuous improvement programs: lead time, cost, quality, capacity, agility. (5) Make optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources, and scope, and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks, challenges, and obstacles. (6) Define projects, collect requirements, understand functional specifications, and coordinate efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy requested equipment. (7) Work cross functionally with engineering, technical program managers and supply chain to define and drive timely delivery of all critical project milestones. (8) Identify and manage risks in cross-functional project plans. (9) Drive supply chain and procurement improvement initiatives to simplify, automate, and scale processes and reduce SLAs. (10) Collect data and present metrics to influence business partners and leadership on direction for strategic projects. (11) Influence the build management process, design decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for all cross-functional teams.
