Must Have
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline and 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of hardware or related occupation, Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of hardware or related occupation, 3 years of experience with data analysis tools such as advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, or Tableau, 3 years of experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global component sourcing procurement and supply chain strategies, 3 years of experience with supply chain modeling
What You'll Do.
Lead material availability and supply chain readiness
Partner with engineering to understand technical requirements
Translate technical requirements to supply partners
Partner with internal stakeholders to define business requirements
Provide feedback and influence product launches
Provide supply chain inputs to product roadmaps
Consolidate and analyze product options
Drive alignment on the roadmap
Integrate across supply chain commodity managers
Maintain continuity of supply
Minimize risk for excess and obsolete materials
Drive strategic BOM reviews
Drive qualifications with internal teams
Drive identification of single and sole source component
Implement risk mitigation strategies
Qualify alternates by working with engineering and supplier
Drive rack integration second sourcing
Prepare and give detailed business reviews
Focus on procurement/sourcing execution
Focus on continuity of good supply
Drive strategic engagement
Drive tactical engagement
Present business insights
Present program recommendations
Lead complex business initiatives
Lead technical initiatives
