What You'll Do.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with consultants
Promote Johnson Controls products and solutions
Establish ongoing partnership with consultants
Manage proposals to meet customer needs
Prepare technically accurate quotations
Validate assumptions and build cost estimates
Prepare proposals and consultant communications
Provide risk analysis for solutions
Understand JC offerings and applications
Devise offerings for program requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with consultants
Assist in identifying specification issues
Work with sales team on customer needs
Review estimates with operations & sales team
Involve estimators in developing offerings
Own JC value proposition to consultants
Understand competitor business products & solutions

As Consulting Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships within consultants as well as for the overall promotion of Johnson Controls products and solutions. **How you will do it** * Responsible for establishing an ongoing partnership with the consultants * Manage proposals ensuring that a quote will meet customers’ application and operational needs * Prepare quotations technically accurate and on time, commercially verified, offering the best all-round solution * Validate assumptions made during promotion meeting and builds a detailed cost estimate and scope of work * Prepare proposals and other consultant’s communications documents * Provide risk analysis for the complete solution * Understand of the full range of JC offerings and their applications in customer solutions * Devise multiple offering to meet specific program requirements * Develop and maintain relationship with consultants * Assist in identifying specification issues or interpretation discrepancies and providing solutions to resolve * Work with appropriate sales team to develop understanding of customer requirements, critical area and needs * Review estimate with appropriate operations & sales team to get mutual agreement on estimate * Involve estimators and PDE in developing offering and bundle solution in according with operations and sales team * Own the JC value proposition to consultants by continuously optimizing the link between consultant’s operation and our business objectives, needs, requirements and the JC’ solutions in order to
