Eligibility Requirements

Must wear PPE as required, Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time, Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking, Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required, Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time, Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access, Background check and E-Verify will be conducted

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience required, Municipality of Anchorage mechanical license required, State of Alaska journeyman level mechanical license required, EPA 608 license required or must be able to obtain within 1 year, Alaska certificate of fitness required, A valid state driver’s license is required, Ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance, Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access

Nice to Have

Boiler Class 1 Certificate of fitness preferred

What You'll Do.

and repair environmental-control systems

Supervise and coordinate technician activities

Complete all assigned tasks of an HVAC Technician and Boiler Tender

Complete required documentation

Document and report all quality control complaints

Ensure safety procedures are adhered to

Communicate with technicians

and material coordinators

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints

Ensure completed work meets quality control standards

assist in work assignments

and evaluate employee performance

Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs

Assist QC with inspections of work

Provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians

Lead team to learn assigned tasks

Assist Quality Control and SSHO departments in training and inspections

Utilize mobile maintenance and inspection devices
