Must Have

Two-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field or at least 3-5 years of industry experience or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry, HVAC controls systems knowledge, Facilities management systems knowledge, Site preparation knowledge, Peripheral equipment installation knowledge, Servicing techniques knowledge, Effective interpersonal skills, Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people, Leadership skills to support activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site, PC experience required, Ability to program HVAC-related software, Experience working in the commercial construction industry

What You'll Do.

Perform assigned system commissioning

Troubleshoot HVAC mechanical problems

Troubleshoot HVAC electrical problems

Troubleshoot HVAC controls problems

Respond to basic warranty calls

Load system-level controller software

Perform complex commissioning

Perform system diagnostics

Complete commissioning documentation

Keep management informed of job progress

Keep JCI contractor informed of job progress

Keep customer informed of job progress

Keep management informed of issues

Keep JCI contractor informed of issues

Keep customer informed of issues

Complete administrative tasks

Provide information for as-built documentation

Communicate with JCI contractor upon arrival

Communicate with JCI contractor before leaving

Communicate with customer upon arrival

Communicate with customer before leaving

Follow all safety standards
