Must be able to operate company-provided vehicles, trailers, and lifts, gas and electric-powered small equipment, Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time, Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking, Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, Climbing in and out of a vehicle, Climbing up and down stairs, Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time, Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access, Background check and E-Verify will be conducted
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
One (1) year of HVAC experience required, EPA 608 license required or must be able obtain within one year, Alaska certificate of fitness required, A valid state driver’s license is required, Ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance, Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
Nice to Have
Municipality of Anchorage Mechanical License preferred, State of Alaska Mechanical License preferred (Journeyman level license preferred)
What You'll Do.
Install HVAC equipment
Repair HVAC equipment
Troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions
Perform preventative maintenance
Utilize wire diagrams
Install water filters
Fabricate chassis parts
Assemble chassis parts
Install chassis parts
Connect temperature controls
Connect circulating ventilation fans
Connect control panels
Communicate with customer
Inform customer of repairs
Determine customer needs
Respond to customer inquiries
Respond to customer complaints
Ensure quality control standards
Make difficult diagnoses
Communicate with scheduler
Estimate completion dates
Operate company-provided vehicles
Operate gas-powered small equipment
Operate electric-powered small equipment
Utilize mobile maintenance devices
Utilize inspection devices
Maintain service records
