What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of four (4) years of documented work experience in the HVAC industry, Valid industry credential or licensure required, including one or more of the following: HVACR Journeyman License, NCCER Minimum Level Two HVACR Certification, HVAC Excellence Certification, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certification, HVAC Contractor License, EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Recovery Certification
Nice to Have
Associate degree or a career certificate in HVAC, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution, Two (2) or more years of postsecondary teaching, workforce training, or apprenticeship instruction experience, Additional industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA 10-Hour Construction, Backflow Prevention, or advanced HVAC specializations, Experience with curriculum development, workforce program promotion, and advisory board coordination, Familiarity with adult learning principles, competency-based instruction, and technical education best practices, Experience collaborating with industry partners, workforce boards, or community stakeholders
