Objective of the Job As HV battery algorithm function engineer should be able to lead sophisticated projects and develop products that fulfil targets and comply with market regulation As HV battery algorithm engineer, you should be able to develop concept for accurate SOC correction/capacity learning, balancing function and relevant regulation implementation (e.g. SOCE, SOHR) for both LFP and NCM battery with deep expertise and rich experience. As part of HV battery development organization, you are leading: Specifications creation for HV battery algorithm , requirement clarification, technical concept development as well as BMS/battery/vehicle level functional verification, data analysis, algorithm issue solving by root cause and countermeasure definition. Objectives include function development, supplier steering, timeline management, lesson learned management, risk management, internal coordination and alignment with relevant stakeholders as well as management reporting. You will be central coordinator of HV battery algorithm technical topics, responsible for working through dependencies between major stakeholders (e.g. powertrain, edrive, supplier) and deliver measurable outcomes against project milestones. Education Doctor in chemistry Master or Bachelor in electrical, automotive engineering or equivalent fields. Experience 5+ years of OEM or supplier working experience in high voltage battery function development Specific knowledge Deep knowledge and practical experience in automotive high voltage battery system, especially expertise in HV battery algorithm development Experience in automotive industrial standard development process Experience in supplier management Experience in MS office package, Vector CAN tools as well as modern project management tools (e.g. confluence) and failure management tools (e.g. Jira) desirable Clear and effective communication skills, and enjoy collaborative problem solving plus the ability to speak and write effectively at
