It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. **Description of Work** This position will manage the DMH/DD/SUS Managed Care Administration Team (“Managed Care Admin Team”). The Managed Care Admin Team oversees the contractual and cross-division administrative functions related to overseeing Tailored Plans for the Division, and where applicable Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans, Standard Plans, and the Child and Family Specialty Plan. These functions include management of contract amendment processes, monitoring of contractual requirements, communication and coordination with NC Medicaid (and other relevant DHHS section) and the respective Plans, and providing technical assistance to DMH/DD/SUS staff in understanding Plan functions and requirements. **Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences** Salary Range: $63,927 - $111,871 Recruitment Range: $63,927 - $96,493 _Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement._ _The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
