Hospitals, hotels, schools, bridges, airports and more.** **Come build a career you believe in.** **About the Role** As an HR Manager at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in driving employee engagement, supporting HR operations, and ensuring compliance across the plant. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and strategic decision-making skills, and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to talent development, workforce planning, and positive employee relations. You will collaborate with plant leadership, HR colleagues, union committees, and teammates, ensuring HR programs and policies are effectively implemented and that employee relations and engagement are maintained. This is an on-site role located in Rochelle, IL. This position will be on a Mon-Fri schedule 5am - 2pm. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. **What You’ll Do** * Serve as the HR business partner for compensation, employee engagement, employee relations, compliance, metrics, staffing, and performance management programs. * Identify staffing needs and collaborate with managers and the talent acquisition team to support candidate selection and successful onboarding of new teammates. * Provide coaching, guidance, and analytics to help leaders make talent decisions and promote employee engagement and positive employee relations. * Partner with union bargaining committ
