What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A minimum of 3 years of specific Human Resources experience, including specifically Recruitment/Talent Acquisition., Demonstrated experience interacting with multiple stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and communication in a timely manner., Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced functions of computers including Windows based software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint., Demonstrated experience in using HR databases and HRIS systems., Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and functions and how they interconnect., Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Employment Act and other relevant legislation., Knowledge of Recruitment or Talent Acquisition best practices., Demonstrated experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition., Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality., Knowledge of administrative processes and protocols., Oral and written communication skills to provide information to colleagues and external candidates in a timely and professional format and manner., Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work tasks in a fast-paced environment., Ability to operate a wide variety of office equipment.
Nice to Have
A combination of education and experience may be considered if actively pursuing the completion of a diploma/certificate specializing in Human Resources., Experience and education with payroll processing and benefit programs is an asset., Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
What You'll Do.
Providing administrative support to the HR department
Assisting recruitment
Serving as a point of contact for employee relation inquiries
Prepare and post job ads
Manage recruitment documentation
Handle communications with candidates
Posting to the internal recruitment system
Screening applications
Providing recommended shortlists
Administering screening tests and/or assessments
Coordinating interview process
Updating interview guide library
Contacting shortlisted applicants to book interviews
Preparing interview materials
Participating on interview panels
Conducting reference and background checks
Preparing onboarding materials
Supporting employee orientations
Prepare confidential documents
Drafting termination letters
promotion/transfer/demotion letters
and any other correspondence
Acts as a central point of contact and triages Human Resources calls
mail distribution and manages centralized email accounts
Gathers compensation data for the HRBC and/or HR Manager in preparation for the annual compensation process
Supports the Human Resources Compensation & Benefits team where required
Performs other duties as needed and when required

Works closely with the Human Resources Consultants; Provides excellent customer service and effectively communicates with hiring managers and employees; Developing and maintaining working relationships; Supports the Human Resources Compensation & Benefits team where required

Excellent communication; Oral and written communication skills to provide information to colleagues and external candidates in a timely and professional format and manner.
