The Human Resources Assistant plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative, coordination, and employee support functions that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. The HR Assistant works closely with department leaders and serves as a liaison across all departments to provide exceptional internal customer service, maintain accurate records, and support key HR initiatives and processes. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:** * Applicant Tracking System support. * Process employee HRIS transactions, including transfers, promotions, and profile updates. * Coordinate and order business cards for all front office employees. * Assist with uniform distribution for seasonal, part-time employees including ordering inventory and vendor coordination. * Assist with coordination of employee training and onboarding events. * Complete verifications of employment and unemployment claims. * Oversee creation and distribution of companywide communications, including being the point person for the HR monthly newsletter. * Monitor the general Human Resources email inbox and manage employee inquiries and requests. * Assist with various audits as requested, including, but not limited to, email distribution lists and benefits billing. * Maintain electronic personnel folders. * Order gifts for employee occasions such as condolences, get-well wishes, raffles, and other employee engagement initiatives. * Assist with coffee vendor oversight in conjunction with the Accounting department. * All other duties as assigne
