What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Degree in Business Administration or HR, CHRP/CHRL designation required, 10-15 years progressive HR experience, Minimum 10 years managing teams, Deep knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, Highly effective project management skills, Superior judgment and discretion

Nice to Have

Experience with Workday is an asset, Bilingualism (strong asset)

What You'll Do.

Lead and execute HR strategies

Provide strategic advice to senior leaders

Act as senior advisor on talent management

Ensure consistent application of HR policies

Stay current on employment legislation

Manage human capital aspects of projects

Oversee disability management processes

Oversee workplace health and safety programs

Partner with firm management on projects

Participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives

Oversee recruitment strategies

Strengthen employee value proposition

Ensure recruitment practices support DEI

Oversee benefits and pension plans

Manage vendor relationships

Partner on total rewards strategy

Implement communication strategy for Total Rewards

Support leaders with recommendations

Ensure compliance with pay equity legislation

Participate as member of Pension Management Committee

Ensure efficient HR operations

Drive continuous improvement of HR processes

Use data and insights to improve outcomes

and develop HR leaders

Foster a collaborative team culture

Act as role model for firm values

Manage P&D priorities

Manage related budget
