# **Position:** HTS Classification Specialist # **Job Description:** **Arrow Global Components**(AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, is a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting network of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side. **HTS Classification Specialist** ensures compliance with regional and local export and import control laws and regulations concerning **HTS classification requirements for cross-border product movement** , and data, software and technology transfers to foreign persons, to protect Arrow from fines, penalties and publicity resulting from violations, and to promote revenue generation through defined customer/supplier support. **What You Will Be Doing:** * Act as a liaison among several internal groups across Arrow businesses in an effort to ensure proper adherence to trade control laws and regulations. * **Support the supply chain with providing them suitable HTS code both for export and import.** * Provide classification support for inbound and outbound transactions.
