What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health, Engineering, Safety or closely related field, 3-5 years of experience in Occupational, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, Ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator, Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders, Demonstrated computer skills in Google suite
Nice to Have
Experience in the chemical industry HSES field, CSP, CHMM, CSHM or other related certification in HSE, Plant level experience in HSES, Working knowledge of Cal-OSHA, EPA and Bay Area Air Quality Management (BAAQMD) regulations, Working knowledge of online HSES management systems, Generating HSE metrics and gathering data for KPIs, Working knowledge of SAP in generating purchase requisitions for safety supplies
