Must Have
US Citizen, BS Degree in an Occupational Safety and Health or related field, At least 5 years of position-related experience, written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
Master’s degree, Experience participating in formal hazard analysis reviews (HAR) using a “What-If” or other structured approaches in an R&D Laboratory setting, Demonstrated experience conducting formal causal analysis of incidents and off-normal occurrences in an R&D setting, Demonstrated knowledge of process safety in a light industrial or laboratory setting, BCSP certification (ASP, CSP, or CIH)
What You'll Do.
Identify and mitigate hazards in laboratory- and bench-scale fossil energy R&D projects
Ensure internal safety review process is documented
Lead and participate in annual safety assessments
Perform other duties as assigned
