What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent, Minimum 10 years of experience in applicable industry, Direct HSE permit execution experience required, Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal), Basic computer skills (desktop software) are required, Legally authorized to be employed in the United States
Nice to Have
Previous experience in facility/area start-up environments, Solid understanding of FDA guidelines, cGMP requirements knowledge, Organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests, Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Flexibility – ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges, Ability to understand technical nomenclature and language, Ability to work with mathematical formulas
What You'll Do.
Develop and maintain safe work permits
Interface with Process Team and Project Team
Manage equipment availability
Coordinate maintenance activities
Prepare and issue necessary permits
Conduct thorough risk assessments
Audit live work permits
Prepare safe work permits
Coordinate operations
and maintenance personnel
Generate work orders for corrective maintenance
Influence adherence to project and maintenance schedules
Assist in planning and scheduling daily work
Execute safe work permits
Develop lock out tag out procedures
Develop confined space entry risk assessments
Develop and maintain permitting equipment and supplies
Perform safety audits
Maintain an audit ready status
Review and monitor Standard Operating Procedures
Execute unplanned SOP changes
Support Process Engineers/Maintenance/Projects and Supervision
Fill in daily responsibilities in absence of Lead
Identify and support implementation of improvements
Own issuance of non-routine work instructions
preventative maintenance or breakdowns
Conduct continuous improvement projects
Safety & Environmental-regulated environment
Understand application of Health & Safety/Process Safety standards
Understand other area processes & their operational hazards
React appropriately to operational hazards
Participate in building & area operations
Follow cGMP practices
Follow safe work habits
Follow plant dress code
Follow hygiene standards
Follow housekeeping requirements
