Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Relevant HSE education, e.g., Higher or Secondary Safety Studies or a Bachelor's degree in Integral Safety Studies., Minimum 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in a technical or multi-site environment., Good knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices in the Netherlands., Experience with risk analyses, incident investigation, and audits., Experience with digital HSE systems and data analysis., Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)., Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability., Experience with environmental management and sustainability (e.g., ISO 14001 / ESG)., Experience with change processes and strengthening a safety culture.

What You'll Do.

Ensuring TOMRA in the Netherlands complies with all relevant HSE legislation and internal guidelines

including monthly reporting.

Prevention: organizing PMOs

contributing to Toolbox meetings.

Acting as prevention officer and conducting workplace assessments.

Being the Head of BHV (Emergency Response) at the Apeldoorn location.

Following developments in PPE and proactively proposing improvements for safe working.

and updating risk assessments and safe work procedures for office

and potentially customer locations.

Investigating incidents

Developing and delivering HSE training for employees and

Stimulating a proactive safety culture by analyzing safety data and initiating improvements.

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Part of the HR team.; Close collaboration with managers of the Service and Production departments and other internal teams.; Key sparring partner for management.; Collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines and countries.

Communication Scope

Strong communication skills: you know how to get people on board and make safety discussable.; Experience training and guiding colleagues and stakeholders.
