What You'll Achieve.
enable safe, compliant, and scalable operations from start-up through steady state; translate business and operational priorities into practical workforce, organizational, and leadership solutions; ensuring full compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, labor relations requirements, and regulatory standards; balancing local execution excellence with global consistency; aligning HR processes to manufacturing realities such as shift structures, labor optimization, productivity, EHS, quality, and compliance expectations; drive improvement; Influence the design of future programs to better support the business; ensuring sound, compliant outcomes; measure and track success
Industry & Context.
Analytical and conceptual thinking ability to support recommendations through data and analysis; Ability to generate and apply novel talent solutions to support the business; Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing will be expected to use sound business judgement
Ability to travel internationally approximately 5-10% of the time when Plant is Operational, increase in travel during Greenfielduild phase to US and MX ~25-30%, Full-time, onsite role (Monday to Friday)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 15 years’ of which 5+ years as a Sr HRBL, A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment is required, Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Relevant industry experience and/or experience working within a US multinational company
What You'll Do.
Serve as primary HR partner to greenfield manufacturing site

Translate business priorities into workforce solutions
Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation
Lead HR readiness for greenfield manufacturing
Support operational excellence with HR processes
Align HR processes to manufacturing realities
Implement corporate/regional strategies and programs
Act as site expert on Malaysia employment legislation
Advise leaders on complex employee matters
Represent HR in regulatory
and governance forums
Champion local execution of talent acquisition
Coach leaders to demonstrate Intuitive leadership expectations
Use data and insights to shape people strategies
Design and implement new Plants cultural strategy
Lead and support change management initiatives
Champion a culture of safety
Provide informal leadership to site-based HR team members
Partner effectively with Global Operations HR
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with Site and Functional Leaders; Serve as trusted advisor to Site Leadership Team; Proactively collaborate with client group leaders; Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, EHS, and Global HR COEs; Partner with Talent Acquisition Lead; Partner with Global Talent Management Lead; Partner with the Site VP; Partner effectively with Global Operations HR, Regional HRBLs, HR COEs, and People Services
