**_Job Description_** **What is the Opportunity?** The HR Systems Security Specialist - Workday & SAP is responsible for the design, configuration, administration, and ongoing support of security within Workday and SAP. This role ensures that appropriate access controls are in place to support business operations while maintaining strong security, compliance, and risk management standards. The role partners closely with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to support secure and effective access design, resolve security-related issues, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of HR systems security frameworks. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, configure, and maintain security roles, permissions, and access controls within Workday to ensure appropriate and compliant access. * Manage end-to-end user access processes, including provisioning, changes, and removals, while ensuring adherence to access governance and segregation-of-duties principles. * Partner with HR and business stakeholders to design, test, and implement security and configuration changes that support evolving business requirements. * Assess and support the security impact of system changes, enhancements, integrations, and organizational restructures, ensuring risks are appropriately identified and managed. * Support internal and external audit activities by providing access documentation, security reporting, and evidence of controls, and assisting with remediation of identified issues. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance security processes, automation, and operational efficiency. **Qualifications** **Must Have:** * Experience working with enterprise HR systems (Workday and SAP). * Strong understanding of application security concepts including role-based access control and least privilege principles. * Experience in user access management, security configuration, and support of enterprise systems. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
