Full Job Description

Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.65 Hours: Sunday to Wednesday 6:00PM – 2:00AM (open and potentially flexible schedule) ________________________________________ What's the Short Version? The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources and Distribution team. The HR Specialist performs duties at a professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: benefits, employee relations, recruiting, compliance and payroll. They consult with employees, supervisors and managers related to human resources issues. The position forms partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. What Will You Be Doing? • Responsible for employee relations counseling and investigations. • Assist with committee facilitation and employee communication. • Assist and/or conduct employee development and training. • Assist in implementation of human resource policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements and reporting. • May support employee safety, wellness, and health programs. • Assist with benefit enrollments. • May conduct new hire onboarding. • Responsible for managing time and attendance. • May participate in developing HR goals, objectives and processes. What Are We Looking For? • High School Diploma or equivalent • 4-6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or equivalent education/training. • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred • General knowledge of employment laws and practices. • Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality. • Effective oral and written communication. • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. • Attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills. • Responsive to staff needs, including professionalism, respect and consideration of others. • Demonstrates flexibility and the ab
