What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of HR support, HR operations, or people operations experience, Experience using HRIS platforms such as: BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits, or similar systems, Familiarity with U. S. labor law compliance, organizational and documentation skills, Proficiency with: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and HR reporting tools, written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to Have
SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification, Experience with: multi-state payroll, international HR support, or startup environments, HRIS implementation or process improvement experience, Background supporting SaaS, professional services, or high-growth companies

Post and manage job openings
Screen resumes and coordinate interview scheduling
Communicate with candidates throughout early hiring stages
Support recruiters and hiring managers with hiring workflows
Prepare offer letters

Manage offboarding processes including access removal
and exit coordination
Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems

Generate HR reports related to headcount

Assist employees with benefits-related questions
Coordinate open enrollment and benefits administration activities
Work closely with finance/payroll teams to ensure accuracy
and employee documentation
Ensure compliance with FMLA
and multi-state labor laws
Maintain audit-ready HR records and documentation
Assist with HR process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Act as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Support engagement initiatives and performance management workflows
Escalate sensitive matters appropriately to HR leadership
Coordinate training sessions and compliance certifications
Coordinate interviews and onboarding activities
Update employee records and HRIS systems
Respond to employee questions regarding payroll
Validate payroll inputs and compliance documentation
Prepare HR reports for leadership
