You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. # **A Day in the Life** The HR Shared Services Specialist is responsible for the administration, coordination, and support of Canadian employee benefit programs and leave management processes. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, managers, vendors, and HR partners, ensuring the accurate and timely administration of health and welfare benefits, pension plans, disability programs, leaves of absence, and time-off programs. The Specialist delivers exceptional employee service while ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, and plan requirements. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. * Provides centralized human resource administration and support across a variety of processes and programs including Global Rewards, Global Talent & Leadership Development, Global HR Operations and Employee Relations. * Collaborates across the Human Resources function to establish operational standards and procedures that are leveraged to respond to employee and manager questions, ensures transactions are processed accurately and human resource programs and processes are administered effectively and efficiently. * Leads & participates in internal and cross-functional initiatives related to continuous process and quality improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). * Identifies customer-impacting issues and implement solutions and process improvements to increase customer experiences. * Ensures streamlined human processes, workflows, metrics, and system optimization. * Helps to define requirements for systems that will facilitate increased efficiencies, automation and/or self-service for various HR processes. * May also create test plans, lead testing cycles, an
