Full Job Description

**A DAY IN THE LIFE** The HR Operations Coordinator is a key contributor to Blattner’s Human Resources team. This position is responsible for managing various HR operational tasks, with a focus on pre-boarding and drug testing activities. The HR Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Field, HR team members, hiring managers, and new employees to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience. **STEP INTO THE ROLE** * Conducts pre-employment criminal background checks and applies relevant policies and procedures towards making eligibility determination. Escalate as necessary. * Requests motor vehicle records (MVR) for pre-employment hires. Coordinates necessary conversations between the candidate and Fleet Manager, per MVR results and Fleet policy. * Tracks completion of required pre-employment drug screen, reviews results, and enters into system of record. Follows up with the Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and/or candidate as needed based on results, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. * Verifies completion of Form I-9 and onboarding tasks for new hires, rehires and transfer employees. * Manages the DOT and non-DOT random drug testing process, reviews results, enters into the system of record, and follows up with all applicable parties and ensures the EAP or SAP process is initiated as appropriate. * Arranges on-site medical services for assigned projects and manages the vendor relationship for the duration of the project’s life cycle. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED** * Two-year Human Resources degree or related discipline; or the equivalent combination of training and related experience. * Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or other applicable customer service role(s). **WHAT SETS YOU APART** * Prior experience utilizing Workday preferred. **HOW WE INVEST IN YOU** * Competitive pay * 100% employer paid HDHP insurance premiums for employees * 401(k) with company match * HSA and FSA options * Dental and Vision insurance * Education As
