Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field., Minimum 4–8 years of experience in HR operations, with exposure to payroll administration, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle management., Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and payroll software used in India-based operations., Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements including PF, PT, Shops & Establishment, and POSH., Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and track service agreements across multiple functions., attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven payroll and compliance processes., Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across employee levels, functions, and geographies., Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and drive outcomes independently., Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with HRIS/HRMS tools.
Nice to Have
Experience working in a multinational or technology company, coordinating with global HR teams., Prior exposure to managing India-specific benefits renewals and insurance broker relationships., Experience supporting or leading POSH Internal Committee (IC) processes., Background in supporting facility operations or office administration alongside core HR responsibilities.

Netgear is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations professional to manage end-to-end people operations for our India offices. This role is central to delivering a seamless employee experience - spanning onboarding and offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, statutory compliance, and general administrative oversight. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, is comfortable working across functions and geographies, and brings a structured approach to managing multiple operational priorities simultaneously. This is an individual contributor role with broad organizational impact, requiring strong cross-functional coordination with Finance, Legal, IT, and global HR teams. This is a hybrid role that requires in office attendance 3 days a week in either Bangalore or Chennai. Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Offboarding - Coordinate pre-boarding documentation including ID proofs, educational certificates, and background verification data. - Set up new employees in HRIS across India and global systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely completion. - Facilitate HR onboarding sessions for new joiners, covering employee benefits, policies, and key HR processes. - Conduct HR orientation sessions covering benefits briefings, policy walkthroughs, and compliance training for all new joiners. - Manage end-to-end resignation workflows including exit interviews, experience letters, and relieving formalities. - Provide timely inputs for background verification requests related to ex-employees. Payroll & Benefits Administration - Collect and validate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, pay changes, and loss-of-pay deductions. - Coordinate with Finance and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary processing each cycle. - Manage employee insurance administration, including handling queries, coordinating with vendors, and processing monthly additions and deletions. - Maint
