What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology or a related field, Fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written, knowledge of Costa Rican labor law and employment practices, IT skills, preferably with experience using HRIS systems
Nice to Have
experience with HSE
What You'll Do.
Develop and execute the local HR strategy aligned with global corporate objectives and Costa Rican business needs.
Oversee the full talent lifecycle including workforce planning
succession and retention
Ensure compliance with Costa Rican labor law
immigration and regulatory requirements
including managing disciplinary processes and terminations
Manage annual performance reviews and company surveys
driving employee engagement.
Ensure accurate payroll operations and monitor core HR metrics.
Lead a small team and manage selected outsourced vendors.

work closely with the Managing Director, leaders and employees; acting as a trusted advisor to management; collaborate closely with others to find sustainable solutions; work closely with senior leaders; be part of BioMar’s global HR community
