What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three (3) plus years of Human Resources experience, Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines, Solid working knowledge of local, state and federal laws to include FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, and wage and hour, Possesses conflict resolution and mediation skills, interpersonal, time management, and change skills, Able to work in a fast-paced environment, embraces and fosters change and problem solves, Customer focused and must possess the highest integrity, discretion, and confidentiality, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrates flexibility, Able to interpret HR policies, Sense of urgency and delivers results, Proactive problem solver, exceptional team player, excellent interpersonal skills, PC Microsoft Office & HR system experience, Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)

What You'll Do.
Provide support in the handling of all Human Resources (HR) activities for a defined group
and administer HR programs
Participate and implement HR activities programs in partnership with corporate initiatives
Provide guidance on a variety of subjects
including anticipation and planning for changing people needs
driving engagement and supporting HR initiatives
Support compliance with state/federal employment laws
corporate HR policies
Assist with implementation of employee relations initiatives
Assist management in the identification of causes and providing recommended solutions for improving job satisfaction
and enhancing employee morale
Responsible for the maintenance and timely/accurate data entry of employment records
Provide thorough and timely employee benefits orientation and enrollment to new-hires and management training to new management staff
Responsible for compliance with all state and federal employment laws
Act upon and assist with the thorough and impartial investigation and resolution of reported incidents concerning workplace harassment
and/or other alleged illegal activities by employees
Provide coaching and counsel to first line managers
Assist with implementing and supporting company policies
and employee training
Assist with preparation of terminations
May be responsible for unemployment claims administration and company representation at unemployment hearings
Analyze and assess trends in turnover
worker’s compensation
employee grievances/ EEOC charges
and other critical HR key performance indicators
Prepare internal employee communications
Support a union-free environment of positive employee morale
and positive attitude toward management
Proactively identify areas through which new or additional training could improve the competency of the management team and the employee’s understanding of company benefits
Proactively ascertain future employment needs and challenges
Lead projects and perform other duties as assigned
