Serve as first point of contact for benefits

Provide guidance on leave eligibility
Escalate complex leave situations
Maintain accurate benefits records
Flag discrepancies in benefits records
Support benefits audits
Support compliance filings
Coordinate day-one logistics for new hires
Facilitate new hire orientation
Process offboarding for all separation types
Schedule exit interviews
Deactivate systems for offboarding
Send COBRA notifications
Maintain onboarding and offboarding processes
Identify process gaps
Surface recommendations for onboarding/offboarding
Support administration of performance review cycles
Track performance review completion
Assist managers with performance management
Direct complex coaching situations
Direct corrective action situations
Maintain performance documentation templates
Flag process inconsistencies in performance management
Serve as first point of contact for HR
Provide guidance on HR policies
Provide guidance on handbook questions
Support documentation of employee relations matters
Assist with scheduling ER cases
Assist with note-taking for ER cases
Assist with file maintenance for ER cases

POSITION SUMMARY The HR Generalist is a developing HR professional who supports the execution of core people programs and processes across the employee lifecycle. Working with regular guidance from the VP of People, this role is responsible for day-to-day administration of benefits, onboarding and offboarding, leave management, compliance, and employee inquiries. The HRG is building depth across HR functional areas, developing judgment on routine to moderately complex situations, and growing into a trusted resource for employees and managers.
