We've built a social sports gaming experience that allows users to compete for leaderboard positioning, to achieve badges and build their status within the game. We are pioneering play-for-fun sports gaming, with our flagship social sportsbook experience that includes sweepstakes promotions and loyalty rewards. We provide sports fans with fun, engaging, and free-to-play alternatives to real money gaming. The Role: Our People Operations team is the backbone of the employee experience, from the moment a new hire accepts an offer to their first day and beyond. We're looking for a seasoned HR Generalist contractor to seamlessly cover an extended leave and provide additional support for our HR and payroll administration needs. This individual should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers across the organization. ## Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Pre-Onboarding Run end-to-end onboarding for US employees and global contractors, from pre-boarding logistics through HR orientation and new hire check-ins. Manage onboarding workflows, background checks, and system setup in Rippling. Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth, engaging new-hire experience. Coordinate equipment shipments, onboarding documentation, and compliance requirements as needed. HR Administration Maintain employee records, documents, and HRIS data accuracy. Support Rippling workflow builds, automation updates, and process improvements. Assist with payroll processing, audits, reconciliations, and employee payroll inquiries. Support benefits administration, employee changes, and offboarding processes. Prepare HR reports and assist with audits, compliance requests, and internal documentation.
