Must Have
High School Diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Programs, Ability to multi-task in a high paced HR environment with excellent communication and organization skills
Nice to Have
Labor scheduling experience in a manufacturing facility, Prior HR experience, Experience working in a union facility, Bachelor's degree, Degree in Business or Human Resources, Experience with Workday

Prepare and administer weekly plant labor schedule
Coordinate labor assignments
Administer hourly training
Track employee qualifications
Manage employee training database
Prepare new hire training documentation
Manage hourly employee vacation scheduling
Process unemployment claims
Maintain personnel files
Assist with employee product purchase program
Assist with tracking employee attendance program
Prepare attendance disciplines
Assist with new hire process and orientation
Assess departmental labor needs
Create production labor schedule
Organize and schedule employees weekly
Coordinate plant postings for overtime signup
Coordinate voluntary layoff program
Coordinate daily overtime
Coordinate and attend training meetings
Provide reports on employees out of work
Track hourly employee daily attendance
Generate attendance disciplines
Provide monthly attendance reports
and review hourly vacation requests
Determine hourly employee vacation eligibility
Maintain database to track vacation days
Ensure vacations are properly documented and approved
Monitor weekly vacations for labor scheduling needs
Maintain training database
Ensure proper completion of all hourly training
Keep all employee records up to date
Input hourly training and qualifications
Maintain employee seniority lists
Generate training reports
Administer hourly employee job bidding process
Schedule employees for bid training
Ensure weekly training evaluations are done
Maintain qualification and evaluation sheets
Create and maintain personnel and medical files
Assist team for employee product purchase program administration

**_Your Opportunity as the HR Coordinator / Labor Scheduler (full time, non-exempt)_** Core responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 1) Preparing and administering the weekly plant labor schedule, coordinating labor assignments, bid tracking, awarding, and posting, hourly training administration, employee qualification tracking, manages the employee training database, prepares new hire training documentation. 2) HR duties include managing hourly employee vacation scheduling, processes unemployment claims, maintains personnel files, work with team on employee product purchase program, assist with tracking employee attendance program and preparing attendance disciplines, assist with new hire process and orientation duties. Daily interaction with employees, union representatives, and management staff is required. **Location:** Buffalo, NY manufacturing plant **Work Arrangements:** 100% on-site * Willingness to work extended hours and flow to the work as needed **Reports To:** Sr. Coordinator, Operations Support **Direct Reports** : none **In this role you will:** * Assessing departmental labor needs based on production scheduling/planning and creates production labor schedule for facility. * Organizes and schedules employees weekly to each department based on qualifications and employee availability. * Coordinates plant postings for weekend overtime signup, voluntary layoff program, and daily overtime. * Coordinates and attends hourly management/union training/labor committee meetings. * Manages assignment, training, and qualifications for Production. * Provides reports to Senior HR Leader and Payroll on employees “out of work”. * Works with payroll to help manage attendance program by tracking hourly employee daily attendance, generating attendance disciplines, and providing monthly attendance reports. * Monitors, tracks, and reviews hourly vacation requests.
