What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Moderate computer functionality, At least two years of related Housekeeping experience
Nice to Have
Experience as a supervisor, Experience at a Mountain Resort Lodging Property, Experience with Springer-Miller Systems (SMS) Property Management System, Experience with WorkDay, Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
What You'll Do.
Assist in managing Housekeeping department
attractive conditions
Hire Housekeeping employees
Train Housekeeping employees
Correct Housekeeping employees
Schedule Housekeeping employees
correct Housekeeping staff
Ensure staff have skills
Manage Housekeeping schedule
Ensure consistency and adequate coverage
Ensure cleanliness of lodge common areas
Establish and demonstrate standards and procedures
and direct work of staff
Appraise performance of staff
Resolve problems with staff
Inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment
Document inspection forms
Assist in inventory management
Assist in Just In Time (JIT) purchasing
Investigate new cleaning instruments and methods
Research green initiatives and products
Inventory and order supplies and equipment
Manage a safe employee and guest environment
Deliver required safety meetings and updates
Establish Housekeeping procedures
Seek new ways to improve processes
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s)
Ensure proper communication with Front Desk
Ensure staff follow uniform and appearance policies
Take corrective action for policy violations
Comply with company policies and procedures
