Job Description: **Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant** **Location:** Fountains Lodge Care Home, 13–17 London Road, Southborough, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN4 0RJ **Contract:** Permanent – Part Time **Hours:** 25 hours per week covering days. Flexibility is essential. **Salary:** £13.30 - £14.30 per hour depending on experience **CQC rating:** Good **Carehome.co.uk rating:** 9.8 / 10 Fountains Lodge provides personalised nursing and residential care to people living with cognitive impairments, including dementia care. The purpose built home in Tunbridge Wells offers short stays too (including palliative care), to help both carers and their loved ones at times when they need a break or a little extra support. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer en suite facilities, while some come with patio doors providing direct garden access. It also has a suite suitable for couples. The home has its own café as well as lounges and private dining areas for family and friends to come and enjoy when visiting their loved ones or celebrating a birthday or anniversary together. Situated in Southborough, the home is a few minutes from all its amenities – shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and has good transport and road links, making it ideally located for visiting family and friends. Staff take great care to focus on the person. Its important for residents to feel at home, so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.
