Ensuring our facilities appearance is top notch; Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the hospital; Provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment
Industry & Context.
Must be prepared for new challenges, Working with cleaning chemicals to clean up blood and or bodily fluids, May be assigned to clean the morgue and/or specialty areas such as an Infectious Disease Unit, Background check and drug screen conducted, Complete onboarding in a timely manner, Receive annual Flu Vaccine, Weekend and holiday rotations are required, Physical demands: involves a lot of walking and pushing a cleaning cart

Must Have
Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision, Ability to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions, Ability to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally, Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals, Ability to fill out chemical identification stickers
Nice to Have
Previous related experience, Familiarity with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques, Additional related education and/or experience
What You'll Do.
Performs assigned cleaning tasks
Empties hampers and transports soiled linen
Empties trash containers and removes all trash
Empties all medical waste containers
restocks and replenish supplies
Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment
Notifies appropriate personnel as repairs become necessary
Protects equipment from damage
May perform special projects
Responds to questions and requests from patients
Meets or exceeds goals for customer service satisfaction
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Works as a member of the environmental service team; Great communication with your team and medical staff; Internal customers include facility staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, and executives; External customers include visitors, patients, and employees from other company and non-company facilities
