Must complete onboarding in a timely manner or job offer will be rescinded, Required to receive annual Flu Vaccine, Background check and drug screen conducted, Prepared for new challenges, Prepared to work in a fast-paced and physical environment, Prepared for a lot of walking and pushing a cleaning cart, May be assigned to clean the morgue and/or specialty areas such as an Infectious Disease Unit, Working with cleaning chemicals to clean up blood and or bodily fluids, Weekend and holiday rotations are required, Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for specific locations
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision, Ability to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions, Ability to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally, Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals, Ability to fill out chemical identification stickers
Nice to Have
Previous related experience, Familiarity with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques, Additional related education and/or experience
What You'll Do.
Perform cleaning tasks: dusting
Plan daily completion of cleaning tasks
Empty hampers and transport soiled linen
Empty trash containers and remove all trash
Empty medical waste containers
and replenish supplies
Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment
Notify personnel of necessary equipment repairs
Protect equipment from damage
Log out and in equipment
Perform special projects: windows washing
removing heavily soiled items
Respond to questions and requests from patients
Meet or exceed goals for customer service satisfaction
Perform all cleaning of patient rooms and/or assigned areas
Work as a member of the environmental service team
and aesthetically pleasing environment

Work as part of a team; Communicate with your team and medical staff; Work with internal customers: facility staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, executives; Work with external customers: visitors, patients, employees from other company and non-company facilities
