Full Job Description
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It Things break. Lights flicker. Doors squeak. And that’s where you come in. As our Maintenance Engineer, you’re the go-to fixer, problem-spotter, and calm-in-the-chaos presence that keeps our hotel running smoothly behind the scenes. You work side by side with the Maintenance Manager to make sure guests, students, and teammates feel comfortable, safe, and taken care of every single day. From quick repairs to preventative checks, you’re hands-on, practical, and always one step ahead. No two days look the same, and that’s exactly how you like it. You’re part of the local hub team, trusted to take ownership, work independently, and jump in where needed. In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global. What You’ll Do Handle day-to-day maintenance issues across the hotel, from plumbing and lighting to locks and small repairs Complete daily walkarounds and keep indoor and outdoor areas clean, safe, and looking sharp Carry out preventative maintenance checks to spot issues before they become problems Tackle minor painting and cosmetic fixes when things need a refresh Support and coordinate external contractors when specialist work is needed Keep an eye on stock levels for tools, materials, and spare parts Jump in on ad hoc tasks and support the Maintenance Manager when required What You’ll Have
