What You'll Do.
Serve meals to assigned area.
Deliver meals to patients and guests.
Prepare limited food items for assigned area.
track and set up food for assigned area.
Complete daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
Stock and supply with necessary items for service times as well as hours beyond work shift.
Deliver excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food Services.
Assist in other work areas including dish room.

**Location:** Avera McKennan Hospital **Worker Type:** PRN **Work Shift:** Day Shift (United States of America) **Pay Range:** _The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience._ $17.50 - $21.50 **Position Highlights** Monday- Friday 9:00am-3:00pm ; PRN as needed Every other weekend/holiday Experience in food service a must! **You Belong at Avera** **Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible to serve meals to assigned area. May deliver meals to patents and guests. Act as a liaison between food service and other departments. **What you will do ** * Prepares limited food items for assigned area which may include but is not limited to creating prepared salads, sandwiches, entrees, or desserts. * Delivers, tracks and sets up food for assigned area. * Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards. * Stocks and supplies with necessary items for service times as well as hours beyond work shift. * Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food Services. * May assist in other work areas including dish room. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
