What You'll Do.
Provide support to patients
Oversee Lost and Found functions
Conduct bedside rounding
Enhance the Corewell experience
Communicate with Hospital leaders
Participate in event planning
Support event execution
Support guest department scheduling
Support guest department maintenance
Present an excellent first impression
Greet promptly with a warm and friendly reception
Provide Hospital way-finding

Locate wheelchairs and scooters
Clean wheelchairs and scooters daily
Tag wheelchairs and scooters for repair
Maintain appropriate volumes of chairs and scooters
Provide liaison activities between clinical staff
Assist with communication as appropriate
Enter text page phone numbers for family members
Greet promptly with a warm and friendly reception
Provide information at entrance
Assist patients in and out of vehicle at
Round hourly throughout the unit
Seek out service opportunities
Resolve service opportunities as appropriate
Provide liaison activities between clinical staff and patient
Perform Service Recovery for unhappy guests
Perform conflict resolution for unhappy guests
Provide comfort items as needed
Assist with cab vouchers
Assist with bus vouchers
Assist with other transportation
Organize event planning activities
Support patients and families
Provide direction and guidance to volunteer staff
Provide orientation to new volunteer staff
Provide training to new volunteer staff
Work closely with Environmental Services Attendants
Work closely with Environmental Services Supervisors
Assure reception spaces are clean
Assure patient room spaces are clean
Perform a thorough search for the owner
Return lost items as possible
Manage all items in an organized manner
Participate in safety initiatives
Participate in risk mitigating measures
Complete position safety related competencies
Complete unit safety related competencies
Complete safety requirements on a timely basis
Perform other duties as assigned
