We are growing our team because of the need for more social workers in our Off-Campus Emergency Departments. As an ED social worker at MultiCare, the priority work includes comprehensive mental health evaluations, SBIRTs, collaborating with DCRs and psychiatric facilities, addressing abuse, neglect concerns, and provided resources and referrals to a wide range of services. We need social workers who are comfortable with traumatic patient situations, providing emotional support to patients and families, have a background in mental health and crisis interventions. If you have a passion for behavioral health care across the lifespan and have the skills to problem solve complicated discharge situations, please apply. You would be working on a multidisciplinary team in an emergency department setting with most shifts being 12 hours. For LSWAIC social workers, we offer weekly clinical supervision to support achievement of LICSW. We have a 3-step career ladder that social workers can advance at their own pace.
