What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma or GED, Minimum one (1) year of experience in medical field, medical office experience or related position, Ability to operate computer equipment, Fax and photocopy machines necessary, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Knowledge of medical terminology, Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

Associate Degree preferred, CNA or MA certification preferred, Experience with geriatric population and/or caregivers preferred, Familiarity with Ethizo EMR preferred

Coordinate after hours calls

Communicate significant findings to primary care providers

Perform well under stress and in emergency situations

Assume primary responsibility for after hours patient care

Develop and maintain positive working relationships

Answer telephone calls after hours and respond to concerns

Provide support and direction to agency staff

Responsibilities are completed with limited supervision and after hours.
