We’re hiring a Hospice Regional Admissions Coordinator – a detail-oriented and compassionate professional who supports the admissions process for hospice and palliative care patients. This role blends administrative precision, empathy, and coordination to ensure a smooth and dignified transition into care. Be a difference-maker with a hospice care leader! What You’ll Be Doing: Manage data entry and maintain accurate admission tracking logs Coordinate hospital discharges and general admission processes Overcome initial objections to hospice and palliative care services Verify insurance and manage authorization processes Schedule staff to meet with patients and families in a timely manner Ensure intake documentation is completed per policy Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff Communicate empathetically with patients, families, and associates Remain calm and level-headed in emergencies and emotionally intense situations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma required; college coursework in business administration preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales Prior hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred Typing spee
